Let me start off by saying i didnt buy this case with many expectations, as you shouldnt for the price. I bought the white one. And the reason i give it 3 stars is because the white begins to discolor into a dirty off-white over time. ive owned the case for about a month. on the back the apple symbol is not protected and will leave a ring on your iphone if not cleaned regularily. However, this case is very lo profile, sleek, and when i first got it, sexy. in retrospect i would have gotten a different color. and the vibrate/silence is blocked a bit to turn on vibrate for people with big fingers, but isnt too big of a nuisance. this case will not protect the screen from a drop. for scratch/wear protection this phone is great, but for drop and rugged use protection, keep shopping. just my 20 cents :P

Purchased both black and white case. Using the white one myself, love it. Guess I will have to let you know about the dirt thing. I found the phone itself to be very slippery. Dropped it twice before initially buying a sponge like case, which hung up when trying to get it out of belt holster. The shield gives you decent protection, still "smooth" but with just enough texture to make it easy to grip and not slip from hand. You really won't know it's there, seems like part of the phone. About to buy a red one for my wife.

In my opinion, every case out there detracts from the beauty and feel of the iPhone and this is no exception. If you must use a case this is a pretty good choice. It's far better than most cases on the market, most of which are just hideous.
The material has a good, smooth feel although it doesn't feel as nice a the iPhone itself. I think it could be thinner.
