 An Excellent Product and A Great Deal! Feb 14, 2007

I purchased this product roughly one month ago. I chose this flash drive over others because 1) it is made by Kingstion, 2) the price is really good, and 3) the storage space is huge. I have used other Kingston products before and am satisfied with all of them. This flash drive is no exception. Well, honestly I have not heard any flash drive being "defective" just after one month of use (they all seem to be reliable enough in some sense anyway); but I still feel that this Kingston drive is better than others I have encountered before. In my own experience there are some flash drives that would take extra longer time to be recognized by the computer after being hooked, or sometimes the computer does not recognize the flash drive at all so I need to pull the drive out and re-plug in (which is really annoying). This does not happen to the Kingston drive I purchased: it is recognized immediately. This one is just more reliable than others. The 2GB storage space also comes as a huge advantage: I have some large data sets to work with, while each of them ranges between 80MB to 200MB. This little thing lets me backup all my important working data in a single drive and is undoubtedly very convenient. I used to carry two or three flash drives with me to keep all the data, but there's no need now.
Think about this: a $40 solution to have all your important data backuped in a reliable and portable way. What a great deal!

I have used this little gem to store files for professional presentations with super results. It loads fast, leaves no residual file junk on my computer or those where I transfer files. Lightweight giant does the work I need done. I highly recommend this flash drive, especially to those working with photo files.

I purchased this product because I needed faster read and write speeds on my flash drives. The Kingston is definitely worth the money as you'll notice that its read/write capability is faster than other brands with the same memory capacity. Another added benefit is that it is relativey small in size and comes with a small attachment string for your key chain or other attachment device. There are ergonomic little rubber ridges running down the sides for more grip when inserting and pulling out of the computer's usb port. The only issue I should note is that your computer usb must have the capability to support these new generation hi-speed flash drives. I have an old 1.0 ghz Pentium 3 from 2001 and it took 45 minutes to transfer 1.93 gb of files onto the flash drive. However it took only 2-3 minutes to download it onto my new IBM Thinkpad.
