This is poorly designed, doesn't stand up and not even what I ordered originally.
They substituted this item for the more expensive iPad case which I ordered and
paid for. Company is difficult to deal with, only available via email. I would not
buy from them again.

It is a nice design, but it is not real leather May 18, 2010

The design of the cover looks very nice and it is very practical, however I really don't think it is made of leather as the cover has a very strong smell of vinyl. I do like the vivid red color, but I really wished that it was made of real leather and doesn't smell of vinyl.

I ordered this case not expecting a whole lot, just needed something to protect my new ipad while I waited for availability of the Apple case. I love it! Its very versatile - use the frame back to stand it up to watch movies, fold the flap back and under to read, fold the flap over the screen and snap it shut for transporting it. I can get to every button and connection port easily. When standing up to watch video, it is at a much better angle than the Apple case allows. It looks nice, has a good feel, and meets every need of protecting and using my ipad, and the price can't be beat. Two of my friends have purchased one as well after seeing mine. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because they could have done better with the little elastic strap that secures the ipad on the open end of the case. I'm glad something is there, the ipad is very secure and not going to slide out, but it bends the flap cover at that point because of the tightness of the elastic band. Overall, I am very satisfied and highly recommend this case!

I was so excited to find such a wondeful bargain until....... It took 4 weeks to get here and it was vinyl, and poorly made, it tore just taking it out of the package. I guess you get whatt you pay for.

Nice cover for iPad May 18, 2010

This leather case for the iPad is nice, but not quite what I had expected. It seems a little flimsy, but maybe I'm just hard on things. It is a VERY bright red color. I haven't used it with the "stand" as of yet, and not sure I would, it doesn't seem very sturdy. I thought that the snap held the iPad in the case, but there is just a little elastic strap on the upper corner that does that. The snap holds the case closed (when in book style). I do like that I can charge my iPad when it's in the case (and closed).
