Love it Jun 03, 2010 I bought this a year ago, and love it. I wanted something to listen to my IPOD in the car, and this was it. I live in upstate New York, and do not get any interference at all. I like that there are different holders that you can insert for different IPOD sizes. you can also preprogramm stations on the unit to help with easy changing if you do go into an area that is not getting good reception. A few times going into the city I have had to change my programmed channel, but for the day to day driving, I use the same one, no problems. You do have to shut off your ipod when you shut off the car, but I would do that anyway, never would live the IPOD in car, locked or not. I am getting ready to buy another one for my husband for fathers day.
Excellent item for an excellent price Apr 14, 2010 This item works great and is a great price. It would be nice if the volume were a little easier to turn up on it. In most cases turning up the volume in my car works fine, but sometimes it gets a small amount of background noise. I am pretty happy with this purchase though.
Belkin Transmitter for iPod, not good at all. Mar 28, 2010 I bought this about a year ago, maybe even more than a year ago. I do not like this transmitter at all, the reception is horrible, you have to keep flipping through trying to find a channel that sounds clear. Even when you find one that sounds clear within a few minutes you have to change the station again. Its annoying. I need to buy a new one. Find a better one, don't buy this one.
Terrible reception, terrible connection, not a fan. Mar 26, 2010 The TuneBase from the beginning just looked awkward. I thought I was going to break my car trying to force the connector into the cigarette lighter input... and then, it had terrible reception. Not very user friendly anyway. Sometimes the iPod would pickup the on screen display, then it would be gone... not sure how to get it back without undocking/redocking... I do NOT recommend.
Worthless Feb 06, 2010 It fell apart every time it was removed from the DC power in the car. Returned to amazon for a refund. the sound is typical of an FM transmitter.
