Protects, but not perfect! Jun 21, 2011

I've been using this screen protector for a few days now and have found it to be as terrible a fingerprint magnet as the Xoom's screen! I can usually wipe away the obvious prints with a dry cloth, but it really just smudges them around (more a problem of my "cleaning" method than the protector, admittedly. It also shows plenty of glare, but this is not advertised as an anti-glare protector.
This protector fits well, with one hole cut out for the front camera. I ran into problems when trying to apply it, however. It is a good thing this comes in a three pack, because I ran through two just trying to apply the first time! Like most such dry protectors, they come with a film on each side that is peeled off as part of the application process. I have applied many such protectors before, albeit on a smaller scale, and the directions on this were the same as any other I have used. I cleaned the screen, then tried to apply the protector - as I smoothed out air bubbles, I noticed multiple particles that stuck underneath. I rinsed off the protector, then cleaned the screen again - being extra careful to not leave behind any lint or debris. Upon reapplication, the particles were worse. I ended up breaking out the second protector and just living with the few particles that showed up initially rather than keep trying and failing.
Despite heavy use, I have not seen this get scratched yet and my screen has not been damaged either, so a definite overall plus.
In summary:
Pros - fits well, does protect the screen
Cons - difficult application (for me)
Neutral - has glare and gathers fingerprints. This is not a con because the description doesn't say this will prevent either.
Overall, this does the job it advertises, but this is not a super-high tech version which reduces glare or anything special. If all you want is a protector with a couple of backups, this will do the job.

These screen protectors are very nice. Unlike some protectors that are thin and flimsy, these are very sturdy and very easy to apply. I always buy multi-packs of screen protectors because I rarely ever manage to get the first one on correctly and usually end up wasting one or two before I finally get one on. Between air bubbles and dust that's never visible until AFTER you get the screen on, it's enough to drive a person insane!
With these, the first one went on quickly and easily the very first time I tried. No dust and NO AIR BUBBLES. I always end up with air bubbles that won't come out no matter how much I rub, but with this one, the air bubbles easily moved to the edge and out so I have a nice, clear screen. You can't even tell there's a protector on it and I love it. It looks great and works great, like it's not even there.
I'm not sure what they mean by anti-fingerprint. The screen definitely doesn't resist fingerprints. Either that or I have the oiliest fingertips in the world, but at least they wipe right off with a dry cloth, leaving the screen crisp and clean again.
Best of all, this screen was a perfect fit for the Xoom. I've bought screen protectors for other devises before that are a close fit, but always have that little crack of space at one end where the screen cover just doesn't quite reach the edge and that's always where the dust ends up. This screen fits perfectly from edge to edge. Between the screen protector and my rooCASE, my Xoom is guaranteed to stay good as new for a long, long time.

This screen protector does it's job very well. Easiest screen protector I have ever put on. 1st one went on with just a couple of bubbles on the black edge and small ones at that. Just get it lined up,use the tool to press down the center as you pull off the film in one motion. Then smooth it out and Voila!
Does a very good job in cutting down glare. Doesn't eliminate it completely but cuts it dramatically. Fingerprints wipe off easily. Can't go wrong buying this one for your Xoom.

I've never seen any fingerprint-free screen, I now think they really do not exist and this product is not exception... but it is very good screen though. Anti-glare is partially truth, if you look for transparency and clear/sharp image through, it is just impossible to have real anti-glare. Even though my comments, it should be hard to find better than this one, I recommend it anyway!
Be aware of the installation care: make sure you are in the best dust-free environment possible (toilet is usually good); stop the wind completely closing the room you are; dedicate the time to do it, do not share it with other tasks; once unmasked, do it as fast as you can; try being precise at once, avoid taking it out after gluing unless it is very bad positioned.

This screen protector provides many advantages! Besides great screen protection it offers a non-glare finish and smidges and fingerprints wipe clean easily! With this screen protector in place and a gel skin, I can use my tablet as a 'ruggedized' device without worry. One word of warning however... It took me several minutes after installation to realize that there is clear cover over the protective shield that needs to be peeled off after installation. I love it!
