i used the case for my Le Pan 970 tablet.It was a perfect fit and the case seems to be a quality case.

Used this case for the last 2 weeks, seems to be a well made case. Elastic is used to hold iPad into case with additional elastic bands to secure the lid.
Pros:
Simple, thin, light, good protection to face and back.
Cover can be used to prop iPad as if made to be a stand.
Provides excellent grip to slippery ipad.
Can be removed\attached quickly with little effort, yet will not fall off.
Delivery was unexpectedly quick.
Soft but sturdy
Cons:
Provides little protection to edges.
Seamed to be available only in black, brown would have been preferred.
Original offer appeared to included a free screen protector which I never got.
I also received a CTCStore Leather Carrying Case Cover/Folio CTCStore Leather Carrying Case Cover/Folio With Built-in Stand for Apple iPad 3G tablet / Wifi model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB (BLACK) which I like a lot less.
Elastic bands, while affective, detract from the overall appearance.

I get a lot of compliments on this case. I like the fact that it's not too thick or too thin. I thought the exterior was leather, then I looked at a area small that was wearing through. The back side shows the white mesh backing for the synthetic material. The inside of the cover, the part that touches the iPad is suede-like. I have not looked to see if it is real suede or not, but I think it's probably synthetic microsuede. The only drawback to this case is the lack of folding for angled use.

This cost half of what the simple Apple wraparound (black) case cost. It is incredible for the cost.
It operates like a simple folio, has no extra pockets, and simply covers the front and back like a thick dustjacket, while making your iPad much easier to hold. Unlike the Apple case, it doesn't pickup dirt / hair / scratches at a moments notice either. Looks reasonably professional, and is relatively thin.
One down side: your iPad tends to hang about half an inch outside of the folio when closed. It is still covered by the inch or so of material that holds the iPad in.
One more down side: it doesn't prop open to hold the iPad for movie viewing, but I usually just prop a book / magazine / fork or whatever is at hand when I need to.

Very basic bi-fold that has a cushiony front and back with a strong elastic/rubberband-like latch. It reminds me of the simple Amazon Kindle protector cases...and that's what I wanted. Something I could slap shut and go, and not too thick. Feels like real leather, but I don't think it is. No strong smell. (Made in Taiwan)
If you want a nice & simple case for your Le Pan II tablet (what I have), your ipad, or any 9.7" tablet and don't want to spend a whole lot of cash...this is a great deal.
