4A Nice Kindle Touch Case  Dec 09, 2011 By Scherzo Presto
Seems to be made with good quality, but not fabulous, material & workmanship. The Kindle Touch fits in the the leather "lower corners" well and these, with the elastic at upper corners, hold the Kindle securely; we'll have to see how the elastic holds up over time. The case does not interfere with Kindle operation. To my surprise, the Text-to-Speech with built-in speakers seems as loud & clear in the case as with no case (I haven't evaluated music). The power button and USB port are accessible, and the power button has some protection from being pressed accidentally. With no case, when the Kindle is propped up vertically, it turns off due to the pressure on the power button; with the case, this is not a problem.

This case is fairly rigid and has good padding; it is also quite light. It works equally well held like an open book or with the front cover folded behind. It was a great bargain at the early price of $8; at $15, it seems fairly priced. Suits my need for a functional, reasonably attractive, less expensive case.

5Simple, Reasonably Priced Case that Works  Dec 12, 2011 By Pk Shiu
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R15F5N9KEP2HKT The reason I like the Kindle Touch is that it is small, light, and cheap enough (compare to the Fire or the iPad anyway) that I can just toss it in my bag so that I have something to read all the time. Leaving the Kindle completely unprotected is a bad idea as the screen will definitely get scratched. The Amazon branded cases are nice, but really too expensive! So I bought this case to try out, and it works great.

One thing that I did not show is that the cover does fold back nicely so that you can hold the case with one hand during reading.

NOTE: I bought this from CTCStore on Amazon, which has the cheapest price for the same case.

5Perfect for Kindle Touch!  Dec 08, 2011 By Karen Soucie "kbelloise"
I just received this case today. I was a little worried when I purchased it because there were no reviews for it yet but I went ahead and bought it anyway. I ordered the pink one. I was afraid it was going to be too bright but it's actually very nice. It's just slightly darker than it looks in the picture and slightly muted, so for me it's perfect.

The cover itself is very nice. It doesn't feel cheap at all. I'm not sure if this is real leather but it looks and feels like it so I'm not going to complain for the price I paid. It does have a slight chemical smell but most new leather or leatherette items do. It's not over powering though and I'm sure it'll be gone in a week.

I put my Kindle Touch ( Kindle Touch, Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display - includes Special Offers & Sponsored Screensavers ) in it as soon as it arrived and it fits perfectly. I am going to try to add a picture to this review if I can, but seriously, it fits like a glove. The front cover is hard enough that it will protect the screen. While reading, it folds all the way behind with ease, making it easy to hold. The magnetic/snap closure folds back easily as well and when closed keeps the case shut securely. The inside is a soft suede or suede like material. It's very smooth and won't scratch the front screen at all. There is a small pocket on the left you can use to keep notes, cash, debit card, etc... When the case is closed there is enough room in the binding to keep a stylus or pen attached. I like to use a stylus ( 3 Pack of Universal Touch Screen Stylus Pen (Red + Black + Silver) ) for some of the games. Being able to keep it attached to the inside cover makes it easier to access when I want to use it.

I can't think of anything negative to say about it except that it did take a while to arrive. I ordered it on 11/30 and received it 12/8, which is actually one day ahead of scheduled delivery so I can't really complain about it, but I just wonder why it had to take so long to begin with. Anyway, I won't take away any stars for that. I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm actually planning on buying another one in a different color. I highly recommend this item for any Kindle Touch owners.

Edited to add: Now that I have actually sat and read for a while with my Kindle in this cover, I love it even more!! It's so much more easier to hold and that magnetic flap is the perfect place for me to rest my thumb! It will fold behind though if you prefer that. I was reading with my Kindle naked before. This is so much more comfortable!

ETA: Make sure you put your Kindle to sleep before you close the cover. The pocket/flap on the inside cover will touch the screen when it's closed and you'll open it up later to find your page changed or a different book open etc...

5ACase for Kindle Touch  Dec 14, 2011 By Malcolm Clark
Seemed the best deal for protective case for Kindle Touch which is still new enough that options are limited. Fit easily into case. No problem turning on & off in case. Can remove from case when desired without difficulty. Clasp keeps it shut. I'm happy with it although perhaps I will also get a lighted case when a well reviewed one is available and perhaps a minimal protective sleeve for traveling when space is at a minimum. A full case like this inevitably (thus not a criticism) doubles (+) the thickness of the Kindle

2Cover touches Kindle Touch screen...  Feb 12, 2012 By Melissa Palmer
I have tried two of this Acase Kindle Touch Leather Case; I returned the first one because the cover touched and activated the Kindle Touch screen when closed over (not even snapped). I decided that, since it was rated so well and I liked the quality for the price, I would give it another try. The second one did the same thing and had a stitching defect in the leather, so I returned it, as well. I was very disappointed in this product.
