 Great Cover. . . Really for the TOUCH Dec 15, 2011

This cover took a little longer to arrive than I expected, however when it got here my wife was thrilled. She's had it for three days and loves it. The red exterior is offset by the fuzzy gray lining that complements the Touch when the cover is folded back and the latch is bent double to snap the case open. The fit is excellent without hindering access to the screen or bottom switches. She got it because we both liked the blue Acase I got for my Kindle 3. The case came packed well and the delay was a minor problem with such a good outcome.

It's getting 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do, fit my Kindle touch and protect it. The closing tab can be tucked in behind the Kindle between the folded back front and the back of the case and the magnetic snap connects with the other matching metal snap (for lack of better description). It seemed to take a while to get here but maybe they are filling a new demand?? I got the red and that color looks good. The price is good, the shipping is a little high, but much better than those expensive ones and it's a whole lot better than the bubble wrap that I was using while waiting for this. I've only had it less than a day but so far it's holding up to the strain!
UPDATE, still going strong but I did see that they offered it on Prime for $14.45. I can't seem to find that offer any longer but maybe they'll have it again??

I got a Kindle Touch for Christmas and just wanted an inexpensive case to protect it when I am traveling or tossing in my gym bag or purse. I haven't used the Kindle enough to know if I will eventually want to have a lighted case and I wasn't interested in making a big investment to purchase a case.
I ordered on the Tuesday after Christmas and it arrived on Thursday which was perfect as we were going away for the New Year's weekend. The Kindle fits perfectly in the case with little elastic corner straps. The magnetic closure strap holds the case closed and my Kindle is protected. What more could I want for eleven dollars. I couldn't be happier. The case is relatively firm but soft on the inside which is kind to the screen.

Pros: color is accurate and it fits the kindle touch just right. Leather quality is as expected (good quality and looks durable). Bought this cover for 10.45 (a lot more affordable that most)- I won't pay $30 for a cover, unless it is trully special and high quality.
Cons: The inner lining has a strong chemical like smell (reminds me of pesticides). I got a headache from the fumes after 10 minutes. I wish the manufacturer uses a better quality lining that does not smell like one of those plastics material as it indicates the use chemicals that could become health hazard for a prolong exposure. I am thinking about returning this item.

I am very satisfy with the case for the kindle touch. It fit the touch very nicely and I love the RED color. The leather case isn't as soft, but then again for about $10 buck, I can't complain. One thing I have to add though is that if you close the cover over the kindle touch, the faux lining inside touch the kindle and actually move a page. Therefore, if you don't want to lose your spot of where you were reading, I suggest you go to the home page before you close the cover. That part is the only "con", but it doesn't really bother me as much.
