Its not a bad case for the price. Wish I had bought the more expensive Amazon case. I bought this one because of the color. Why didn't Amazon have any good colors this year? I really wanted a red one with a micro shell back. Love the way it fits and not too bad, quality. The top flap just doesn't fold over completely to the back. I like the blue back and the black front. Micro shell cases are really the way to go.

The case seemed flimsy at first and I did not think it was going to work for me but after putting my Kindle Fire in it and seeing how it worked, I found that it is just what I needed. The hard shell protects the Kindle, the inside of the cover is soft and doesn't leave any.marks on the screen, the band that closes it is tight and strong. The only complaint is the weight it adds to an already heavy item, but that is not a deal breaker.

The case fits perfect, I like how it doesn't cover any of the Kindles glass. Exactly what I was looking for. I read reviews and understood that the cover doesn't fold back flat. That's ok it makes it easyer to hold in my hand. The strap helps keep in in my hand. I didn't want a boring black case. I really like the blue, its just like the picture online.

Light weight, that's about it. The front cover does not bend all the way back. Pain to get the kindle out. The strap is extremely tight. The stand doesnt work well either. Hoping I can return it. There is one exactly like this by Marware that I prefer over this one. It costs more so I thought I would try to save a few bucks but now I have to deal with a return. Save yourself the hassle and get the Marware cover.

I ordered several cases to do a comparison. I also looked at the caseen SKINNY Multi Angle Soft Snap Case Cove, the Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand, and splash SIGNATURE Folio Leather Case, Ctech 360 Degrees Rotating Stand.

The Acase as a plastic back with a leather flap cover. The plastic has a cheap feel to it and the leather isn't much better. The hand-strap can be flipped around to hold the case closed. Supposedly the cover will fold and prop the Kindle up (the "built-in Stand" bit). But it really doesn't work well and is terribly unstable.

The only real positive of this case is that it is very think when closed up, thinner of the bunch I looked at. But the feel is really cheap. If you want a thin case, try the caseen SKINNY Multi Angle Soft Snap Case Cove.
