Do not mistake this for leather. It is an excellent imitation, however. The outside is a pebbled "leather" but does not smell like leather and is very even in its pebbling texture. The feel is ok on the outside. There is no plasticky smell.
The inside is a neutral gray suede-like fabric called "micro-suede" by some manufacturers.It looks amazingly like suede, so they did use a good quality fabric here.
Other than the false adverstising (NOT leather!), the stitching is excellent quality, the magnetic clasp is well-aligned, and the color was a pleasing neutral orange that is not too bright. I have had this at least a month now and it's holdign up well. The kindle stays in nicely. I have had no issues with it.
Classy-looking cover. Not leather! Worth what I paid for it: about 1/4th the cost of actual leather Kindle covers...

Completely satisfied with this cover. Great lovely colour. Comfortable to read when it is on. A little plastic feeling bacause it is not leather but it was hard to expect leather case for this price. A little too heavy.
Very pleasent to have in the handbag, looks great.

I searched and searched for a Kindle case. Everything I found was so expensive! But them I found this little gem. I ordered the orange one and I absolutely love it. It is very durable, holds my Kindle in tightly and does not add a lot of bulk to my Kindle. The inside has a wonderful suede material that protects the screen. The outside is leather and seems pretty durable so far. The binding is pretty flexible which allows me to bend the front cover back, snap it into place and read with one hand. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and for $11 my wallet is pretty happy too!

This case was nice. Its almost a midwestern orange. The leather or material is really nice and it holds the kindle really tight so that it wont fall out no matter which way you turn it. I bought this for my mom because she can be a kluts at times and its better to be safe than sorry. It bulks the kindle up to look almost the size of a small novel, but still weights less than a book. I recommend these over the $40 cases which are exactly the same.
