This 2nd Generation Acase capacitive stylus features an upgraded tip that is far more responsive and durable than most other capacitive styluses. While capacitive touch screens are great, one flaw is the inability to use a stylus. Not anymore! Acase's Capacitive Stylus allows you to use your Apple iPad without ever touching the screen with your finger. Perfect for the ladies out there who have their nails done, people that do a lot of typing and gaming on their iPads, or for those who don't want to take their gloves off during a cold day. The Capacitive Stylus is conveniently sized, and designed like a pen to fit just about anywhere. Fully compatible with: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, HTC HD2, BlackBerry Storm, Gphone and any capacitive touch panel device.

3great stylus, but ...  Apr 19, 2011 By Susan Jurist
I really like this stylus. The slim size is comfortable in my hands, and I like the increased visibility of the surface of the iPad I get when using it. When having to select small buttons, it's so much easier to see what you are doing with a stylus. It's also great for using with graphics programs because it feels like using a pencil instead of finger painting. The tether mechanism makes it much harder to lose.

Though I am a touch typist, because of the lack of tactile feed back, I find it awkward to type on the screen without looking. A great compromise has been typing with the stylus and using my left hand to switch to uppercase or the number/other punctuation keyboard.

I also like this stylus better than the two others I've tried. The tip on one was too soft, and another one had a good tip, but the stylus was so short, it kept poking my palm. After using this stylus for 2 weeks, I ordered two more preparing for the inevitable loss and not wanting to be without one.

Here comes the 3 stars instead of the five stars. Less than a week after the two new styluses came, the rubber tip of the first one popped off & I was unable to get it back on. No worry, I had two more, but the stylus is a bit too expensive to have to be replaced every three weeks.

5NIcest stylus I have used yet!  Mar 06, 2011 By Wendy Merritt
This is the third type of stylus I have used with my iPad. This one is my favorite by far. The tip has kept it shape real well. The clip connector thingy is wonderful. I haven't lost this one yet! The tip connects snugly into your headphone jack and there is also a clip where the connector meets the top of the pen. You can either pop it out of the headphone jack or unclip the necklace type clip on the top of the pen. The choice is yours. The shape of the pen is just like a standard pen so it makes holding it very natural. I like it so much I bought one for my sister too!

P.S. This also works great on the trackpad of my MacBook Pro.

3Not as good as Targus but better than others  Mar 25, 2011 By BackYardWildLife "BackYard WildLife Photography"
My cousin bought me a Targus capacitive stylus which worked amazingly. It's the closest thing to using my finger that I've found. However, I was less than crazy about the black color so I started looking on Amazon for other colors. I saw white which would've been good but I read a review that said that the three top brands were all made by the same manufacturer and were equal in quality, so I looked at those brands, too, Acase being one of them. Then I happened upon this PINK stylus which was right up my alley and and it was longer and thinner to boot. So I bought it and was a little bit disappointed. Unlike the other 3-star reviewer on here, my tip was a little too firm and generally, the firmer the tip, the firmer you have to press. That has been my experience anyway. My targus Targus Stylus for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Tablet AMM01US (Black) is just a little bit mushier and it's just absolutely fantastic. Now I find myself wishing I would've went with the white Targus, which would've matched my white phone and given my black Targus to my brother. I'm too busy caring for my ill elderly mother to send it back so I guess I'm just out of luck.
I do think that this is probably a good stylus, it's just that unfortunately the process of manufacturing these items is a little more hit-or-miss than the makers realize. They probably pull a few specimens out of each batch to check for quality but this type of item's quality is SO hit-or-miss that they need to check every single one before it leaves the factory. If their employee has to do more than BARELY tap a capacitive touch screen then they need to reject it. When someone pays $15-20 for a stylus it should be THAT GOOD.
I'd love to have my money back and order the white Targus or even exchange this pink one for another pink one that isn't a dud, but I guess you live and learn.

2Disappointing point  Jun 08, 2012 By Sharon the Brat
Initially, I was thrilled with this stylus. The pink is a very vivid and pretty color, and I absolutely love the tether that allows me to attach it to my iPad. However, after less than two weeks of mild to moderate use, the end tip tore and then the point came off entirely. It seems irreparable, and it is far too costly to have to frequently replace the unit. Overall, I am disappointed to not get a good value for my money.

5Fantastic! Best stylus I've found!  Apr 13, 2012 By ADB127
Ok so I've tried several brands and styles of stylus. This one is beyond the best. This stylus has less 'drag' than any other stylus. Ease of use is phenomenol. Stop looking youve found the best. I bought three more. Makes great little gifts for your iPad buddies.
